Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY)
Home visitation program that serves as a catalyst for change at all levels- family, school, and community - by increasing school readiness and parental involvement. • Services to families with children from 3 - 5 years old. • Must be 3 years old on or before September 1st• 30 weeks of high quality school readiness activities. • Activities and lessons focus on skills outlined in the Texas Education Agency Pre-Kindergarten Guidelines. • Skills to empower parents to be their child’s first teacher. • A+ HIPPY supplemental program aims to increase social, play, and language skills of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Case Management
Work side by side with families to meet their basic needs as well as achieve their personal goals. They also help families to connect with community agencies and referral resources:
